Most people get into internet marketing because it looks like a good way to make money from home. These people usually don’t realize that initial sales are only a small piece of the pie. Don’t be like them and miss out on all the hidden treasures! As you read this article I want you to read about these hidden treasures and look at your job or most traditional businesses. If you compare what you know to what I’m going to share with you it will be obvious to you that your job or traditional business can’t offer you the steal of a deal you can get with being an internet marketer.

Today, the internet has become part of our life. We communicate, trade, and find entertainment over the internet. It makes our life simple, easier and get faster communication. Evertyhing is done by one simple click. Through its many features, the internet has brought us changes in our lifestyle. We can also work from the internet. Just by one click, your product or service can be bought by anyone, anywhere in the world. As you can see, lots of products or business offers thoughout the internet. Business becomes easy, fast and reliable. We can trade tangible or intangible products or service over the internet.

It’s easy and fast, but lots of people failed when they try to do some business on the internet. Why? What’s wrong? Maybe these are the answers :

1. There is no mentor. You need someone to guide you step by step, gives you good training material, otherwise, you can easily get lost on the virtual world.

2. Knowledge is expensive. Can you buy only one book and then master the whole thing at one night? Absolutely not! You need a road map, tools, new development. You can’t stop buying more information to get success on an online business. And it’s obviously not cheap.

3. There is no system to support you. Offline marketing and online marketing is totally different, you’ll need an automatic system that works for you 24/7.

4. Wrong programs. Lost of programs offer “get rich quick scheme”, the real internet marketing is not about how to get rich at no time. It takes learning process and effort.

5. You get bored. This is the worst thing, people get bored and tired, and then give up too early.

6. You feel lost and alone. It’s better if you have a team to help you and give a support

Imagine what you life will be, and take action today.

Targeted Traffic For Effective Marketing. July 15, 2008

I hear many business owners complaining about the inability to successfully drive targeted customers to their website. I listen as they tell me about purchasing e-mail lists and buying advertising spaces on related websites. While these methods may work there are free and effective ways to drive targeted traffic to your site.
In the early days of web development, business owners had learned the very expensive lesson that a Web site with no visitors is of little value. Once the business owner learned that methods could be utilized to increase their visibility through search engine optimization, it then became apparent that the traffic that really benefited them, was “targeted traffic.” It only made sense that if you were selling a solution, the person who will buy the solution are the ones experiencing a problem or challenge. It also became obvious that the best products and services to sell online were niche or specialized markets. Large volumes of “general visitors” (general volume traffic) may have looked nice on a statistics report but only the truly “targeted visitors” (target traffic) were usually the visitors making purchases or doing business at the Web site.
While some search engine marketers were simply offering placement for keywords chosen by their client, other SEO’s realized the value of researching keyword phrases and built strategies that were focused on attracting a specific target market. This is why you would sometimes hear conflicting stories about the effectiveness of search engine marketing. People often had their sites optimized for the wrong phrases. These might be keyword phrases that attracted no traffic all or perhaps even keywords that attracted high traffic but the wrong audience. If targeted traffic was important for success back then, it is absolutely essential that we optimize for targeted traffic now. The reason is that as the web continues to age, peoples behaviour appears to be shifting again.
Search engine optimization is an enormous topic and there have been many books written on the subject and businesses specializing in this service, but I will give you a few important pointers on optimizing your website. Trade links with other website owners and place their links in a ‘Resources’ section on your website. One of the important variables, among many, that Google will use in your ranking is the number of relevant websites that are linking to yours. So be sure the majority of incoming links to your website are from businesses that provide similar offerings.
The next way to drive free targeted traffic to your website is to include a link to your site and small ‘hook’ in your email signature. I’m surprised at how many business owners still do not do this. This hook will be one sentence that tells your audience what you do. This “small ad” of sorts will be on every email you send out.
